the Sensometric Society is that you will receive 8 issues
of the Food Quality and Preference Journal completely Free.

When a new members joins the
Sensometric Society we (I) will give them a unique membership
number.
I then communicate their name
and their membership number to Elsevier, who will maintain
a complete list of valid members.
The members will use their
name and their membership number to access an Elsevier
registration site where they will obtain their username
and password.
Once registered with Elsevier,
a member will be able to use the username and password
to access the journal.
The Sencometric Society is not
responsible for setting up usernames and passwords. We (I)
are responsible for assigning membership numbers, providing
Elsevier with an up-to-date membership roster and providing
new and renewing members with instructions on how to register
with Elsevier. Elsevier has set up similar arrangements
with other professional societies. They have assured me
that there is nothing more to it than what I have just told
you.
